CREW Dallas Committees

Public Relations

Public Relations is responsible for all PR, marketing and advertising for both CREW Dallas and CREW in the Community.  Duties include establishing an annual marketing plan, coordination and planning of all ads in local media, administration and content management along with the chapter administrator of the website and monthly e-newsletter, approval of all requests from other committees for marketing and design approval and production of all collateral materials.

Member Services

Member Services is responsible for planning and executing the member benefit programs for the year.  Traditionally this has included the networking/fashion show, professional development seminar, networking/wine tasting event and a dine-around social.  This committee is also responsible for the CREW Ment mentoring program including the kick-off event, soliciting mentors and mentees, matching both and monitoring the program throughout the year.

Programs

Programs is responsible for planning and executing the monthly luncheon meetings.  Duties include arranging for the facility, food and beverage selection, speakers or program for each meeting, inclusion of CREW business on agenda, distribution of name tags, check-in and all other duties required to make each lunch meeting a valuable experience for members and guests.

Sponsorship

Sponsorship is responsible for soliciting sponsors and donors for both CREW Dallas and CREW in the Community.  Sponsorships include both yearly sponsors and event sponsors.  Duties include review, analysis and structuring of the sponsorship packages, selling the sponsorship packages, coordinating with the CREW office and PR to make sure sponsors receive the exposure defined in their packages, communicating with sponsors throughout the year to assess and assure value and sending appropriate thank you and follow up communications.

New Member Recruiting

New Member Recruiting is responsible for encouraging new applications for membership, finding sponosrs when needed for applicants, contacting references, processing new member applications and making recommendations to the board for approval of member applications.  This committee also hosts new member orientation events and encourages new members to join committees and become actively involved in CREW.

UCREW/University Outreach

University Outreach is responsible for planning and executing the UCREW program which includes holding panel discussions at universities, the half day of shadowing, informational interviews, intern availability program and other outreach programs.

CREW Classic

The Classic committee is responsible for all duties, other than sponsorship, to plan and execute the CREW Classic golf tournament and marathon each year.

CREW Careers

CREW Careers is responsible for planning and executing the annual This Old Building program with the partner school or girl’s organization.
