The Public Relations Committee publishes the CREW Newsletter each month, and arranges for all photography of CREW functions. Committee members have the opportunity to meet community and CREW leaders and high profile real estate professionals and to learn more about the Dallas real estate community. Committee members are involved in reporting on CREW events and committees, writing articles, coordinating the monthly calendar, luncheon information, taking photographs at events and functions, and collecting press releases and other information for the Newsletter.
The Public Relations Committee meets the second Wednesday of each month at 11:30 AM at the offices of Joe Foster Company 8401 N. Central Expressway, Suite 800 at 11:30 AM.
 PR Policy

All committees should submit any requests for PR that they want for events/programs they have created and wish to publicize to the PR board member, the PR chair and the CREW director. This includes email blasts, flyers to be handed out at the luncheons and information to be included on the web site:

 

  1. A program must be approved by the board before any PR plan can be put into action;
  2. Flyers to be handed out at the luncheon need to be approved and sent to the CREW director the Friday prior to the luncheon;
  3. All email blasts to the members should be approved at least three days prior to the date such blast is to be sent. The PR committee will make a serious effort to use the newsletters as the main communication to the membership. No more than four blasts per month will be sent, including the two newsletters;
  4. Information for the newsletter is due on the 20th of the month for the member events newsletter and the 2nd Monday of the month for the member news/event reminder newsletter
  5. All web-site additions must be approved before publication on the site;
  6. All event signage (excluding the Classic) should be approved prior to use.
