Eligibility Requirements
CREW Dallas Student memberships are offered only to an individual currently enrolled full-time (12 hours or more) in an undergraduate or graduate degree program in a college or university intended to lead to a career in one of the commercial real estate disciplines listed below:
- (a) Brokerage
- (b) Property management or asset management
- (c) Finance
- (d) Research
- (e) Law
- (f) Project development
- (g) Leasing
- (h) Valuation service (appraisal services, property tax consulting and valuation consulting primarily for real estate clients)
- (i) Professional accounting (audit and tax services primarily for real estate clients)
- (j) Architecture
- (k) Advertising
- (l) Consulting
- (m) Engineering
- (n) Environmental services
- (o) Interior design/commercial space planning
- (p) Marketing
- (q) Personnel placement services
- (r) Title insurance/escrow services
Benefits/Responsibilities of Membership
Student members shall have all of the rights, privileges and obligations of a full active member, except that: (a) they must perform at least eight hours of volunteer work for CREW [or CREW’s affiliate CREW in the Community], (b) they may not serve on the nominating committee, nor serve as a chair or co-chair of any committee, and (c) they shall cease to be eligible for membership if they cease to be full-time students or Candidates pursuing careers in commercial real estate.
Application Fee and Dues
A non-refundable application fee of $30.00 and a copy of your official transcript must accompany the Student Membership Application. Make checks payable to CREW Dallas. If approved, new Student Members will receive an invoice for CREW dues. Calendar year dues are $120 for undergraduate students and $250 for graduate students.
